Yuval is a faculty member of the Department of Chemical Physics, School of Chemistry, Tel-Aviv University, Israel. In 2011 he set-up the NanoBioPhotonix Lab, which focuses on the following research topics - Single-molecule genomics by optical mapping, Development of epigenetic analysis technologies, and High-throughput single molecule detection.

Dr. Westerlund is an Associate Professor at the Department of Biology and Biological Engineering in Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden. His lab focuses on using nanofluidic tools for studying single molecules or single particles. Of particular focus is studies of DNA where the lab is mainly working with optical DNA mapping, DNA-protein interactions and polymer physics of confined DNA.

Prof. Tegenfeldtof is a nanophysics in the Division of Solid State Physics at Lund University. He is an expert and pioneer in DNA in nanochannels and label free cell sorting. His key research interests are label-free particle sort, DNA analysis in nanochan  and nanoscale injection needles.

Dr. Meller is the principle investigator of the "Single-Molecule Biophysics and Nano-biotechnology" lab located at the Lokey center for Life-Sciences & Engineering. His lab employs various single molecule methods, such as nanopore sensors and fluorescence microscopy (FRET) to study bimolecular function in vitro and in live cells. Specific areas of interest are: protein translation initiation and control, epigenetic, and early detection of biological markers for biomedical applications.

Prof. Hofkens is the head of the Molecular Imaging and Photonics Division, Faculty of chemistry in KU Leuven, Belgium.

Dr. Bensimon is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Genomic Vision, he co-invented the Molecular Combing and is a recognized authority on all aspects of this technology. His contribution to the field has been widely published in leading medical and business journals and he has authored more than 20 patents on Molecular Combing. Prior to Genomic Vision, Aaron spent 15 years at the Pasteur Institute in Paris where he was Head of the Genome Stability Unit.

His lab focuses on the application of the DNA methyltransferase enzymes as tools for biotechnology and on single-molecule and super-resolution imaging at the interface between chemistry and biology.

Sharon Alon, M.A., is a R&I consultant and projects manager at Impasara Ltd. Sharon has coordinated large scale R&I projects, and holds extensive experience in European fundeded research projects since FP7 and currently under Horizon 2020. Sharon is in charge of the dissemination, exploitation and communication acitivtes of the BeyondSeq project, as well as the ongoing administrative management.
